AWESOMEoutof10's Andy Astruc sticks to the shadows and performs acrobatic tricks with aplomb in Compulsion Games' Contrast. "Little collectibles must be collected and optional scenes must be seen, but Contrast is a short game with a story to tell and not much else. The platforming and puzzles which threaten to be interesting at the beginning quickly begin running on the spot, and various glitches quickly rub any remaining charm off the adequate gameplay, so an unfair amount of pressure falls on the story and world. The latter is excellent, but experiencing it is hampered by the linearity, and the former simply does the job."
