By avoiderdragon:If youre a fan of classic 2D platforming, then the slew of new indie titles coming out of the woodwork must have had you in a giddy state, like a dog wagging its tail when given its favorite chew toy or something. With each new title, the envelope is being pushed to different directions. Some of them ramp up the difficulty like I Wanna Be the Guy and VVVVVV, while others come up with new mechanics and narrative devices like Braid and Trine, and then theres this one that just looks very different. 140 is quirky in both name and looks, standing out in what is otherwise an old-school genre.
