With over 32 million people watching the event, the Season 3 world championship becomes the most watched E-sports event in history. On top of a sold-out Staples Center in Los Angeles, there were more than 8.5 million people watching the games simultaneously. This is compared to Season 2 which garnered a total of 8.2 million people watching with 1.1 million watching simultaneously."
