Ben Wright of Gamersbliss writes- "Sadly, the first episode left me disappointed and confused, and less in an intriguing I wonder where theyre going with this way, but more in a why didnt they do this better kind of way. Long story short, the mechanics of the wide-open, sky-hook slinging, Columbia do not transition well to the underwater tube world of Rapture and the story, thus far, doesnt nearly justify the change of locale."
