As a learning tool, Rocksmith 2014 succeeds admirably. If youre wanting something more akin to a party music game in the vein of Guitar Hero or Rock Band, youd be much better off sticking with them. Still, despite its quirks, the game manages to impress in many ways, and offers more than enough content for a budding guitarist to work on for many months. For those with more experience, outside of the ever-enjoyable Guitarcade, there just isnt much here to keep your attention.
