The Bureau: XCOM Declassified has had a long and troubled history. It was announced before the recently released strategy game XCOM: Enemy Unknown, but the fan response to the reveal was extremely critical. The original X-COM franchise was one of the icons of PC strategy gaming, and the early versions of The Bureau was more reminiscent of BioShock.
