DT:I do wish that the game eased up a bit in the early-goings instead of using the trial-by-fire approach that seems to be in place currently, as such an approach would've allowed the player to get better acquainted with the deep and intelligent battle system. At the very least, Conquistador's acceptance of player failure makes it possible to experience its excellent writing.
