A couple days ago the policies published for the usage of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn copyrighted and trademarked materials made the headlines as they prevented users to monetize video on YouTube and streaming services like Twitch.tv, effectively causing an uproar within the "let's play" community, similar to what happened with Nintendo a few weeks back. Today Square Enix decided to listen to the rather vocal feedback and published an updated version of the policies that mentions that monetization is now allowed. Unfortunately the update caused further confusion, but DualShockers got official word from Square Enix to clear any misunderstanding.
