Official Nintendo Magazine: ''DuckTales is many things to many people. A beloved remnant of a late '80s childhood. An odd look at duck genealogy. A punishingly tough NES platformer. It's none of these things to me. To me, it's just a Wii U game, and a bit of a strange one at that. With only three levels under my belt, I don't feel totally confident in criticising it, but I certainly didn't come out totally satisfied.''
