Dota 2 is currently in beta, but Valve has confirmed that it will launch before The International 3, a professional tournament to be held this August, as ValveTime reports.
As of right now, players can either be invited to the Dota 2 beta by friends, or pay $29.99 to become a part of the early access beta. The package includes a slew of cosmetic items.
The International 3 is slated for August 7-11, and thanks to the crowdfunded effort, currently has the largest prize pool in eSports history.
