As the readme for Grid 2 speaks of exclusive effects for certain Haswell CPUs, website PCGH.de offers some technical insights. As a matter of fact, two enhanced effects called "Intel smoke shadow" and "Intel Order Independent Transparency" are only available for Intel Iris Pro Graphics 5200. This integrated graphics is not to be found in desktop graphics, only in some BGA versions and in some laptop variants in the future. As of today, these effects will only be available on certain Haswell notebooks.
