Set years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, Origins tells a 'year two' story, introducing players to a far less experienced, less resourceful Batman. Rocksteady Studios, who developed the previous two Arkham games have stepped away, with WB Montreal taking on development duties. So with new blood working on an entirely new game, and a slew of possible new exciting directions this series could take.
