Assassins Creed is a bit of a divisive franchise. To some the name will evoke fond images of free running and compelling time travel conspiracy tales, to others images of disappointment and another overly milked cash cow. Its been two years since the initial spinoff title Brotherhoods release and now an annual Assassins Creed game, like a new COD or FIFA has become a bit of a given. This meant that absolutely no one was surprised when an invitation for an Assassins Creed reveal event appeared in the hands of the press last week. What was unexpected however, was that the event would actually be the announcement of a full blown numbered Assassins Creed sequel and a completely open world sequel at that.
