Good news everyone!
F-Zero is coming to the Wii U eShop for 30 cents this week, but not everyone was that excited -- particularly our friends in the PAL regions.
Specifically, I'm referring to the fact that Europeans got that crummier 50 Hz version of Balloon Fight . People were worried that Nintendo would keep doing that for subsequent releases, and rightfully so.
Well, it appears as if Nintendo has ditched this idea (at least this time) and F-Zero will be running at the full proper 60Hz rate, internationally.
One really cool unintended consequence that a few European Wii U owners have pointed out is that the Miiverse community for F-Zero won't be filled with spam asking for a 60Hz version of the game, like they were for Balloon Fight.
Insert "Nintendo finally gets it" reference here.
