News::Ex-Midway Game Hero Now Being Kickstarted As Project Awakened

Adam Barnes: ''Project Awakened is a new Kickstarter project from a group of Midway developers, and looks like it could provide superhero fans the game they've always wanted. Phosphor Games is formed from many members of Midway Chicago who had, previously, been working on a game called Hero. This concept has now been worked into Project Awakened, a superhero game in the vein of inFamous or Prototype that sees players picking the abilities they want to use, as well as how they look. The game is currently running on Unreal Engine 3 as a prototype, but will be designed on Unreal Engine 4 - it is described as one of the first "next-gen" games.''
