You're invited to join Destructoid for an amazing weekend at EGLX March 9th-11th at The International Centre, Mississauga. This a shameless shill for our parent company and the closest thing to bringing you a full-on Destructoid convention overrun by cat girls (soon), but it's legit. Nintendo, Microsoft, Blizzard, WB, MSI and others will be there.
I guess PlayStation doesn't think Canadians like video games, so we're just going to have fun without you. Nya. There's also two Destructoid parties this year.
On the floor we'll have tons of Switch games including Pokkén Tournament DX, VR experiences and games, massive esports tournaments and a free to play retro-themed arcade. We have cosplay, a not-to-be-missed scavenger hunt inspired by Ready Player One, Nerf battles and even an all-day Minecraft build contest. We'll also have artist booths and stuff for your whining smaller clones in the kid's area.
This is our biggest show yet: EGLX 2018 is proud to host over 150 Exhibitors, a game swap with over 60 tables featuring hands-on experiences, and the first glimpse at upcoming industry trends and forecasts. Over 24 industry panels are scheduled including developer talks from the makers of Cuphead. From our staff you can come smell Jonathan Devore, Chris Carter, Brett Makedonski, Wes Loves Occams, Torch, and Lyle McDouchebag from our Youtube channel.
