Since Shenmue III's announcement back at E3 2015, glimpses of the game have been somewhat few and far between and the status of the game itself shows it's clearly still deep in development (the last major update on the project was a delay to 2018). The Kickstarter managed to raise nearly $7 million to help fund the development.
But it seems developer Ys Net has still been actively looking for publishing help and has found that partner through Deep Silver.
