News:: Here's how to delete that pesky Street Fighter V PC malware backdoor

Along with Street Fighter V's anticipated 1.09 update came a nasty biproduct on PC -- a back door under the guise of an anti-cheat tool. While Capcom had noble intentions to prevent hacking they actually invited it, and although the update was rolled back last week, the file (Capcom.sys) still remains.

If you own Street Fighter V on PC, you should follow the below instructions after updating to fully purge all traces of it from your system -- it's all very simple stuff that any average PC user should be able to figure out. Still, it's an odd motion to have to go through for a game from a major publisher in 2016.
