To many people out there who enjoy video games, the term IP has little meaning. Its not a term that gets thrown around too much outside of dedicated gaming circles. Instead, many people just use phrasing like new games or something similar as a catch all for anything that may be coming out or recently released. But IP is an important term and it shouldnt be overlooked. Instead, consumers should be more interested a new IP rather than just another new game.
