SteamFirst: Its no secret that while our beautiful medium continues to grow in years, the means to which we may connect to these artificial worlds continues to become more and more powerful and fulfilling. Virtual reality has long been a dream of many, both gamer and non-gamer alike. The very idea of being able to take a step into an entirely new reality, to crush the autumn leaves under your feet and feel the bright rays of virtual-sunlight on your face, fills many with a sense of excitement and wonder. Though we have yet to achieve any such extreme immersion with the VR technology that is currently available to us, It is certainly a first step. The problem lies in what, I feel, is the means to proceed.
