Assassins Creed Unity marks the first time this long-running, historically rooted action-adventure game series has visited the City of Light, which is a bit surprising given developer Ubisoft Montreals French connection. And while it doesn't mark a major departure for this seven-year-old franchise, its possibly and fittingly the most sophisticated installment yet.
