News::No more shirtless streams on Twitch

Have you seen a shirtless dude stream videogames before? I have -- multiple times, in fact! -- and I hardly ever follow live streams. Twitch has updated its rules of conduct and while much of it is common sense, broadcasters will want to familiarize themselves with the new rules.

For instance, back to shirtlessness, "Wearing no clothing or sexually suggestive clothing -- including lingerie, swimsuits, pasties, and undergarments -- is prohibited, as well as any full nude torsos*, which applies to both male and female broadcasters." *Twitch recommends cropping your bod out of the frame if you must be free while streaming.

Another rule decries self-destructive behavior. "In theory, playing video games is one of the safest activities one can possibly engage in. Don't ruin this by harming yourself physically, drinking excessively or endangering yourself in any way while broadcasting."

No more Mario Party drinking games? I suspect those would be all right, but it's unclear how strict Twitch moderators will be. Not too worried, myself.
