Metro Redux is not only one of the best new-gen titles on PS4 and Xbox ONE at the moment; its a wonderful reminder that some developers and publishers still genuinely care about their fan base. If theres one HD remake that truly deserves the ultimate or definitive subtitle, its Metro. Metro Redux brings not only a fresh coat of paint to an already graphically impressive series; it improves major gameplay elements to make the journey through both titles a more cohesive and immersive experience. Even if youre a franchise veteran, there are enough improvements and changes here that warrant another purchase. And for those new to the dreary and dark world of Metro, know thisRedux may be the best sixty bucks youll spend all year.
