Although its been out in closed alpha for awhile, some were lucky enough to be selected to participate in Heroes of the Storm, Blizzards version of the wildly popular MOBA (Massive Online Battle Arena) genre that has quietly crept into the national spotlight. Fellow competitors are found in League of Legends, DOTA 2, and the upcoming Strife. So does the infamous Blizzard touch make their version of the MOBA as good, or better, than the competition? Or does the game offer too little, too late, in terms of innovation?
