The Games as a Service Movement isnt going anywhere anytime soon. In the last couple of years, a vast number of developers large and small have come to identify themselves as part of the Games as a Service Movement. Despite remarkable blowback (Microsofts proposed DRM policy, would be one example), Games as a Service has met with incredible success. It has, in just a few years, transformed the way the most numerous, popular and lucrative games are made on two platforms, transforming most of these games into services rather than products that gamers buy once.
