News::Ubisoft and IE Bring 'Assassin's Creed Pirates' to Web as Free-to-Play Browser Game

Maximum PC: Microsoft's Internet Explorer team partnered up with Ubisoft to bring the first ever Assassin's Creed title to the modern web with HTML5, 3D WebGL graphics, and JavaScript. In the web-based version of Assassin's Creed Pirates, you play as Alonzo Batilla, a young captain, who races his ship through the Caribbean seas while dodging mines and other hazards in search of treasure.
