Daedalic Entertainments 1954: Alcatraz takes place in San Francisco during, you guessed it, 1954. The game follows protagonists Joe and his wife Christine. Joe has been sentenced to 40 years imprisonment for armed robbery and is desperate to break out to be reunited with his loving wife, but to do so, he needs her help. Christine, meanwhile, is facing troubles of her own on the streets of San Francisco. A gangster, Mickey, who helped Joe with the robbery, is threatening to kill Christine unless she hands over the swag, but only Joe knows where it is hidden.
