EVE Online devs CCP Games announced today that players of their MMO have raised over $43,000 to aid the victims of Typhoon Haiyan. CCP thanked the players who donated to the PLEX for GOOD campaign in a blog post earlier today. The money was raised through the use of the in-game resource known as PLEX, which has a range of uses, from buying in-game currency to purchasing game time. The post also announced that CCP will be hosting an 8-hour charity event, which will be livestreamed on the 7th of December.
