"Nothing else in the digital realm of games matters this week, because the greatest SNES RPG of all time has made its way onto the Wii U Virtual Console. Yes, I am of course talking about Breath of Fire II, a game very near and dear to my heart. If you can forgive the early 90s-era translation and the frequent random encounters, youll find a game with a surprisingly dark story, ripe with religious overtones (before Final Fantasy Tactics and Xenogears made it cliché), unique and personable characters and a neat town-building sidequest. Also, protagonist Ryu can morph into a freaking dragon. That alone should be worth the $7.99 price tag (or $1.50 if you own it on Wii). Now, if you dont have a Wii U, the Church of St. Eva will forgive your transgression if you look into some of the other cool releases of the week, most notably the return of psychological horror, point-and-click adventure game I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream on GOG.com.
