Project Reality is probably the most realistic military FPS you can find. The eight-year-old Battlefield 2 and ARMA 2 mod focuses heavily on squad tactics, and has players facing off in massive maps. Despite its age, however, the mod still have a large collection of dedicated players and the developers have been regularly improving it with better graphics and added realism. Things are about to change, though. The team of modders have finally decided to step things up a notch with the announcement of Project Reality 2. It will be a free, standalone game that requires no retail game to play. Its also being made in the CryEngine 3 engine, and looks and sounds amazing.
