Being set in an open-world and having a similar premise at least up until Saints Row: The Third the Saints Row series has long been compared to Rockstars Grand Theft Auto franchise. With Saints Row IV and Grand Theft Auto V releasing only weeks apart, the comparisons will continue, but these two games will offer drastically different player experiences.
