This used to be handled by adding New or Neo in front of the term and changing the realm itself to be more futuristic and glossy, but maintain the same feel. Examples extend from New New York (twenty seven of them to be precise) to Neo Tokyo in Akira, which brought motorcycles and deadly psychics into the mainstream lexicon. Gaming should take once again from the world around it and provide a few new neo cities, celebrate the future through our own cultural diversity and love of advanced threats and weapons.
